Consent Orders
An Application for Consent Orders can be made in relation to:
- Property Financial;
- Children; or
- both
Obtaining consent orders is usually more efficient and cost effective method of finalising your property matters or formalising your parenting arrangements. In doing so, you are reducing the emotional and financial cost of court proceedings.
When parties file an Application for Consent Orders, there is no need for the parties to attend Court*.
* in extremely rare occasions parties may be requested to attend for a mention at Court
